Customer Reviews

Rollerdrome is fun but not affordable for bigger families. :(

My kids tried it for the first time yesterday and although had never skated before, they all three (ages 5, 7, 9) could by the time we left. I was a little disappointed with the prices, I felt that $7 to skate was a bit much when they charge a skate rental fee on top of it of $1-$2 depending on whether you use traditional or inline skates, plus that is just one 2 1/2 hour session it isn't unlimited time. My 5 year old's traditional skates had holes worn through the end of both toes on his rentals. Wish they would charge LESS for the matinee session or first session skate, especially on weekdays or Sunday afternoons. My boys begged to go again today but $25 more than once in a while can add up fast, plus I couldn't afford to pay to skate with them which was a bummer...if my husband and I both went for a family outing it'd be $40+. Disappointed I can't take them back for more fun and EXERCISE for less $$ but they did LOVE the experience. :) / :(

Rollerdrome has the best floor

I skated the Rollerdrome in Nampa while in Jr Hi at Central there in the late 50's. Loved it. A great floor! I got a chance to skate there again this century and it was still the best floor I ever skated on. I've had a stroke now and probably can't skate again, but if I get back to Nampa, I think I'll have to give it a try again, but it won't be fast, Wally !! Please use and enjoy this wonderful facility, Treasure Valley! JP

It's been remodeled

I have been a skater at the RollerDrome since I was 1 year old. I have pictures to back it too. Now I 27 years old and am a manager at the facility and am more excited than ever. We have given the place a face lift. From the bathrooms to the snackbar. This is a 180 turnaround. If you haven't been here in a while, what are you waiting for. Check it out and bring back those memories. Most the employees enjoy listening to the stories of the rink, so don't be shy and share. By the way, a little F.Y.I. The rink was started to be built in 1947 and opened Thanksgiving day in 1948.
