Sherman Elementary School Reviews

This is a great school. The staff is very friendly and super supportive. This school has a low income population and struggles to get much parent support and involvement. as a parent I see the struggles that face these caring teachers. They have some great programs and strive to do whats best for each child. I have noticed some larger class sizes, and would like to see that be smaller. But all in all a GOOD school!!

This school is trying, but still failing to succeed with the students. I believe this is two-fold. The school itself (staff) needs help and an attitude adjustment. The student body reflects an economically and educationally disadvantaged population. The teachers teach at the rate of the slower students, leaving the others to grow bored (as the case with my son). I voiced my concerns several times without the teachers being willing to help solve the problem. The attitude was my son needed to slow down and fit in and they weren't worried that he is in 1st grade and bored stiff. The teacher was unresponsive and uncaring. We are moving this summer and the main reason is to get our kids out of this school.

My daughter has only been there a month and a half and i am fighting with the school district to move her. This school does not handle a bad situation and treat the child and parents that dare to complain like crap. Do not send your child to this school!!!!

this is the most unfriendly elementary school I have ever been in. I am trying to find an alternate school for my son.

I didn't have very good response there and I sent two of my children there. Don't recommend this school.
