Initial Point Gallery is on the third floor of Meridian City Hall, across from the Mayor’s Office. It features 100 feet of wall space for two-dimensional art and four cases for three-dimensional work. Curated by the Meridian Arts Commission through an annual Call to Artists, new exhibits open monthly, with receptions typically held on the first Tuesday from 4:30–7:00 p.m. The gallery is free, accessible, and open to the public Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

Holiday Kids Bike Giveaway
Since 2007, Boise Bicycle Project’s annual Holiday Kids Bike Giveaway has provided more than 600 dream bikes each December to children in our community who might not otherwise have one. Local referral partners help identify kids in need, who then draw their dream bikes. Volunteers and staff repair and decorate donated bikes to bring those drawings to life. Community members can support the event by donating a kids bike in October or November, volunteering, making a financial contribution, or adopting a dream bike between December 1 - 12.
