Cedar Draw Cider, Female Cider Maker in Buhl

We got word of an amazing female cider maker in Buhl Idaho, so we headed out to check it out! @cedardrawcider tasting room carries 10 ciders on tap, 2 house made sodas, and 1 rotating local beer.

They sell bottles, growlers, and howlers (half-growlers) to go. They are currently open three days a week and offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

Cedar Draw Cider started on a 3-acre orchard in Buhl, Idaho, where Emily and John turned heirloom plums and old-growth roots into a modern-day cider story. Emily, a longtime oncology nurse, is now the head cider maker, while John runs the tasting room and sales. As members of the Northwest Cider Association, they’re on a mission to change minds about what cider can be—crafting dry, creative, fruit-forward blends that honor the land’s rich history.

‘Cedar Draw Cider was created to build and strengthen our community, connecting old friends and new.
We believe in a true Public House (a “pub”), welcoming multiple generations and backgrounds to celebrate together over quality farm-to-table hard cider made with locally harvested fruit.’
— John and Emily Mason
