The Book Lounge

I’m so excited to introduce these four women today. They’ve created something wonderful for our community.

@thebookloungeid was born from a shared childhood love of bookstores and reading. As Meridian has grown, these four women saw an opportunity to create something they felt was missing: a cozy, sophisticated third place where adults can step away from work and responsibilities, connect with others, discover great fiction, and enjoy a local beer or boutique wine. The result is a living-room-away-from-home designed around books, conversation, and community.

📚 Kaeleigh has always believed books have the power to bring people together, spark meaningful conversations, and create lasting connections. She helps curate The Book Lounge’s collection, carefully selecting books that inspire, challenge, and delight readers. When she’s not surrounded by books, you’ll likely find her spending time with her family, traveling, or trying the newest restaurants around the Treasure Valley.

📚 Amelia spent years as a storyteller in the consumer packaged goods world, helping determine exactly what belonged on store shelves. Today she’s traded grocery aisles for bookshelves and brings that same talent for curation to The Book Lounge. Outside of books, she loves live music, adventures with friends, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

📚 Emily brings a background in talent and innovation and a passion for creating community. As one of the founders, she’s helping build a space where people can connect through books and conversation. Outside the bookstore, she enjoys puzzles, a glass of wine with friends, and spending time with her husband, three boys, and one self-described “not-very-smart” labradoodle named Tucker.

📚 Kiki combines a sharp eye for organization with a love of cozy, moody aesthetics. She’s passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people naturally gather over books and drinks. When she’s not at The Book Lounge, you’ll find her crafting, enjoying a drink on the patio, or spending time with her pets.

Together, these four women created a place where stories, conversation, and community can all live under one roof. 👏
