Let’s meet Nia Coffey! Co-Founder & President/Creative Designer of @eightfiveone! Since half of Treasure Valley women are walking around wearing her jewelry, just makes sense to know about the genius behind the brand!
“Eight Five One was named after the home address where I grew up and my love for jewelry first began. From a young age, I discovered the joy of creating pieces by hand — a passion that stayed with me into adulthood. I continued making jewelry for myself and for friends, and soon people began asking, “Where did you get that?”
That simple question sparked an idea: maybe this could be more than a hobby — maybe it could become something I did full time.
In 2016, (after juggling multiple jobs) Eight Five One officially launched and I gave it my all as a full time company.
Jewelry has always been incredibly magical to me. It has the power to make you feel beautiful, confident, and seen. No matter the occasion, every woman deserves to shine — and jewelry is my favorite way to celebrate that.
We now have our first IRL brick and mortar in the heart of downtown Boise. We hope to see you there!”
