If thrifting or western are love languages of yours, you probably already know Haley of @riceandbeanscollective. You might follow her for her incredible western vintage finds (yes! You can buy them!) her outfits of the day, or her exploring the Treasure Valley. Or maybe you found her because she took a very real, very bold leap into dating by posting her own dating application, which promptly went viral. And now everyone seems to have a very real investment in her dating life. Either way, when I finally saw her in real life, I, of course, had an embarrassing fan girl moment 🫣😂 which felt like the right excuse to properly introduce her here.
“Hello! I’m Haley, 38, and the owner of Rice and Beans Collective, which I’ve been running for almost nine years. I got my start here in Boise at the Boise Flea! I went to college at BSU (many years ago😅) and after some time away, I’m thrilled to be back….loving the growth, trying all the new restaurants, exploring fun spots, hunting for vintage and thrifted treasures, and meeting new people.
I’ve built my business primarily online, focusing on vintage Western pieces, and recently, I took a wild leap into the world of dating by posting my own dating application, which went viral 🤯. Because, well, 38, single, and in Idaho, sometimes you just have to make your own luck. That adventure opened a lot of doors, and I’m still riding that wave….single, having fun, and navigating the Boise dating scene.
Boise feels like home again, and I’m excited to make new friends, connect with community, and enjoy everything this city has to offer.”
